This morning Tim and I went fishing on the jetty out of Ilwaco, just south of Long Beach, The fishing was great, the catching was terrible. We didn't see anything caught all morning. We did see lots of wildlife though. An otter swam right in front of us munching on fish, two dolphins played around about 300 feet off shore from us, several seals swam by, and hundreds of birds. Tim almost caught a seagull that was trying to eat his bait. It was overcast and about 70 which was a wonderful change from the 90-100 degree temperatures we've been having here. Overall it was a great morning and worth the trip, even though there were no salmon to be caught.
Nothing like being 7 1/2 months pregnant and fishing off of huge rocks!
